Every growing smile needs the right kind of guide. Kidzania brings pediatric dentists, orthodontists, and dental anesthesia support together for children, teens, and families in Arlington and Forney, TX.

This team helps make smile care feel more complete for families with different needs. From little teeth to growing bites, Kidzania gives parents a place to find care shaped around childhood, adolescence, and the smiles still becoming.

Dr. Sam, Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Sam brings specialized pediatric dental care to Kidzania with a heart for growing smiles.

Dr. Hussam Gharraph graduated from Loma Linda University in California in 2003. He worked for seven years as a general dentist before completing his pediatric dental residency in 2013 and receiving his certificate from Lutheran Medical Center in Massachusetts.

Dr. Sam received the Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award, which honors the top three percent of scores on the May 2013 Qualifying Examination for Board Certification. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2014 and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

His path in dentistry led him to his true passion: caring for children as a pediatric dentist. He especially enjoys working with special needs children and helping each child receive care with the attention their smile deserves.

Dr. Sam has two children, Yusuf and Salma. He enjoys outdoor activities with them through Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, along with traveling, camping, reading, soccer, and swimming.

Dr. Hasan Zia, Board-Certified Dentist Anesthesiologist

Dr. Hasan Zia brings specialized dental anesthesia support to Kidzania for patients who need an added level of care.

Dr. Zia graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He completed a three-year anesthesiology residency at Stony Brook University Hospital and Northport VA Medical Center, where he treated patients of all ages and complexities in both hospital and private office settings.

His training also included a cleft lip surgery mission trip to Sudan. During that experience, he provided anesthesia for children of all ages undergoing reparative surgery.

Dr. Zia is a board-certified dentist anesthesiologist who specializes in sedation and anesthesia for pediatric, adult, and special needs patients. He is also a certified provider of ACLS and PALS.

He is dedicated to providing safe, quality anesthesia services in outpatient dental and oral surgery office settings. His role supports patients who may need specialized anesthesia care as part of their dental experience.

Dr. Zia is originally from New York and discovered he was a Texan at heart after marrying his wife, a DFW native, in 2014. He is excited to be part of the North Texas community.

Outside of work, he enjoys playing sports, biking, planning road trips, and spending quality time with his wife and daughter.

Dr. Ziggy, Board-Certified Orthodontist

Dr. Ziggy brings a love for smile transformation to Kidzania, with orthodontic care shaped around confidence, growth, and the joy of seeing a smile take shape.

Dr. Ziggy completed his undergraduate studies at Tufts University near Boston, MA. He then attended Columbia University in New York for dental school before completing his orthodontic residency at Montefiore Medical Center.

After his orthodontic training, Dr. Ziggy became board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. His educational path reflects the strong foundation behind the smiles he helps guide.

Dr. Ziggy is passionate about creating beautiful smiles for his patients. He loves seeing how an orthodontic transformation can touch a patient’s confidence and self-esteem.

During dental school, he ranked at the top of his class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. He also received the Van Woert Award for Highest Academic Achievement, the Henry Chang Jr. Memorial Scholarship, and the Divisional Excellence Award in Foundational Sciences.

His research has been published in Nature, a prominent scientific journal. That academic background adds depth to the care he brings to growing smiles.

Dr. Ziggy was born in Chicago and raised in Hungary. While at Tufts University, he also played varsity college basketball.

Outside the clinic, he loves to work out, travel, read, watch sports, cheer for the Dallas Mavericks, and play golf. A fun fact about Dr. Ziggy is that he once traveled to four continents in six months.

Dr. Najd Aswad, Board-Certified Orthodontist

Dr. Najd Aswad brings thoughtful orthodontic care to Kidzania, with a focus on healthy, beautiful smiles that help patients feel comfortable and confident.

Dr. Aswad earned his dental degree from Cairo University in Egypt. He completed a three-year orthodontic residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he also earned a Master of Science degree.

His training gave him a strong foundation in modern orthodontic techniques and evidence-based care.

Dr. Aswad is a board-certified orthodontist who enjoys helping patients of all ages achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. For him, orthodontics goes beyond straightening teeth because it also means helping patients feel comfortable, valued, and confident.

He takes a personalized approach with every patient by taking time to listen, explain, and help each person feel at ease throughout treatment. He is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists.

Outside the office, Dr. Aswad enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends. He also loves to travel and looks forward to experiencing new places and cultures.

Dr. Piper Dizak, Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Piper Dizak brings thoughtful, personalized pediatric dental care to Kidzania, with experience helping children of all abilities feel supported throughout their visits.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Piper earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She completed both her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and Certificate of Advanced Study in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.

Her advanced training included behavior management, pharmacologic treatment approaches, and extensive experience caring for patients with special healthcare needs of all ages. She also provided dental care to an underserved community during a volunteer mission trip to Jamaica.

Dr. Piper is a board-certified pediatric dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, and Southwest Society of Pediatric Dentistry.

She is dedicated to creating a comfortable, positive experience with individualized care for every patient and looks to current research when shaping her approach. Dr. Piper has also participated in and published research covering the genetic components of tooth decay, dental erosion, and orthodontic alignment, and she is excited to work alongside Dr. Sam in caring for Kidzania families.

Outside the office, Dr. Piper enjoys group fitness classes, walking her rescue dogs along the Katy Trail, and cheering for Dallas sports teams with her husband.
