Board Certified Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Hussam Gharraph Graduated from Loma Linda University, California in 2003; He worked for seven years as a General Dentist. He completed his Pediatric Dental residency in 2013 and received his certificate from Lutheran Medical Center Massachusetts.

He received the Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award honoring the top three percent scores of the May 2013 Qualifying Examination for Board Certification. He earned his Pediatric Dentist Diplomat, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2014.

He is a member with American Academy Of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Sam discovered his true passion for dentistry becoming a Pediatric Dentist. He especially enjoys working with special needs children.

Dr. Sam has two kids, Yusuf and Salma. He enjoys outdoors activities with his son and daughter through boy and girl scouts. He enjoys traveling, camping, reading, soccer, and swimming.

Dr. Omar Issa

Board Certified Orthodontist

An admitted “science geek”, Dr. Issa loves the ever-evolving field of orthodontics and technology that represents the state-of-the-art care that his practice is known for. When he’s not chair-side with patients, you’ll find Dr. Issa still devoted to his orthodontic specialty. Whether he’s at his computer reviewing a SureSmile or Invisalign treatment plan, or reviewing the latest journal articles and courses, Dr. Issa believes it’s his responsibility to stay on top of the latest ways to provide great treatment to his patients.

Dr. Issa was born in Dover New Hampshire, and then lived alternatively between the US and Egypt as he was growing up. After graduating with honors and a BS in Dental Surgery from Cairo University, he completed a General Dentistry Residency at Cairo University Hospital.

Dr. Issa then returned stateside to further his dental education at The University of Minnesota School of Dental Medicine. There he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Master of Science and completed a Graduate Residency in Dentistry before entering and then completing the Orthodontic Residency Program for his Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. This educational path that included multiple residencies provides Dr. Issa a strong foundation that he uses daily in his patient’s orthodontic treatment and gives him particular insight when managing multi-disciplinary cases with general dentists and other specialists. Dr. Issa has completed his certification by the American Board of Orthodontists. He is currently serving as the President of the Texas Association of Orthodontists.

Dr. Issa, his wife (who’s also a dentist) and their two sons love exploring their new home state, taking advantage of parks, restaurants and sports activities. The wide variety of things to do and places to go are some of the reasons they chose to move to Plano from Minnesota. (Well, it may have had a little bit to do with the weather…) Dr. Issa is also an athlete in his down-time; soccer, tennis and squash are all favorite sports that suit his high-energy personality.

Dr. Abdelrahman Elkady, DDS is a Pediatric Dental specialist with over 12 years experience. He graduated from UCLA.

Dr. Hasan Zia

Board Certified Dentist Anesthesiologist

Hailing from New York, Dr. Hasan Zia is a board certified dentist anesthesiologist and specializes in providing sedation and anesthesia to pediatric, adult and special needs patients. He is a graduate of University at Buffalo school of dental medicine and after finishing pursued a three-year residency in Anesthesiology at Stony Brook University hospital and Northport VA Medical center treating patients of all ages and complexities both in the hospital and private office setting. During this time, he further developed his skills on a cleft lip surgery mission trip to Sudan, where he provided anesthesia to children of all ages undergoing reparative surgery. He discovered that he was a Texan at heart after marrying his wife, a DFW native, in 2014, and is excited to be part of North Texas community. Dr. Zia is a certified provider of ACLS and PALS and is dedicated to providing safe, quality anesthesia services in the comfort of your outpatient dental/oral surgery office. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, biking, planning road trips and spending quality time with his wife and daughter.
